Our Story

We're a full-service AEC firm focused on Chicago's building envelope — with in-house architects, structural engineers, a certified building inspector, and a 60-person construction team, all under one contract. No handoffs. No gaps. We inspect it, engineer the fix, and build it.

We started in 2009 on Chicago rooftops, building decks. You can't build on top of a building without getting into the roof, the structure, and the waterproofing — so we did, thousands of times. We replaced roofing membranes, reinforced structural steel, restored masonry, waterproofed every penetration we cut, and tied flashing into existing brick.

As we worked, clients started bringing us back for more. The issues weren't isolated to the deck — they were in the roof, the structure, the facade. Leaks, failed details, structural concerns. We were already opening the building, already tied into it, already responsible for making it perform. So the scope expanded naturally into full building envelope work.

Most firms in this space are either inspectors or contractors. The inspector writes a report and walks away. The contractor prices someone else's scope. We do both — inspection, engineering, and construction under one roof. One scope. One timeline. One accountability.
